At Magari Pizza they serve artisanal Neapolitan pizza which is prepared and served in the traditional way. The dough is left to ferment for 72 hours before being topped with Italian ingredients and baked to perfection in an oven several hundred degrees hot. The pizza can then be enjoyed with a glass of wine in the restaurant on Styrmansgatan near Karlaplan or at home.
Italian influences permeate Magari, from the smallest ingredient to the Italian pizza bakers and traditional craftsmanship. They call their pizzas Stockholm's fluffiest, with inspiration from the pizza's hometown of Irpinia, topped with a modern twist. This has been recognized with an award from Gambero Rosso, Italy's most prominent food and wine magazine.
The menu lists both classics and pizzas topped with seasonal ingredients and deep-fried pizza. In addition to pizzas, they offer snacks, small dishes and sweet desserts. You can wash your meal down with a glass of Italian wine, a beer or something non-alcoholic. Naturally, they also offer takeaway and catering for larger groups craving pizza.
The restaurant is simply but stylishly decorated, with wooden furniture, large windows facing the street and heavy drapes. Magari Pizza works just as well for a relaxed dinner with friends or family as for an after-work get-together with colleagues or for picking up a pizza on a Friday night.
